October is Pastor Appreciation Month—a time to pause and celebrate the faithful leaders who guide, nurture, and inspire our congregations. Pastors pour their hearts into preaching the Word, offering care in times of joy and sorrow, and walking alongside us in our journeys of faith. Their work often happens quietly, behind the scenes, yet its impact echoes in every life they touch. This month, take a moment to say thank you—to share a word of encouragement, a note of gratitude, or a simple prayer of blessing. Your appreciation reminds them that their ministry matters and that they are deeply loved by both their congregation and God.

It suggests simple acts like writing thank-you notes, asking how to pray for them, and publicly acknowledging their ministry. Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
