Blessing Box

The folks at Winfield First are striving to be a blessing to their community. They started with a Blessing Box that got a lot of traffic – a tiny food pantry available for anyone in need. The committee said it was emptied almost as soon as they filled it. So they decided to expand that little box – to the size of a garage! The garage is now a big Blessing Box, with clothing, household items, shoes, sheets, coats and other needed items. The items are donated and given away to people who are unhoused or otherwise in need.
