Synod Assembly Highlights

The Synod Assembly met at the Heartland Conference and Retreat Center in Parkville Missouri on March 27 and 28. In addition to business of the Synod, PCUSA co-Moderator the Rev. Cecelia Armstrong, joined us and gave a message based on Luke 6:27-38 titled "What did Jesus Say". More information about the business of the Synod will be at the April 28 Presbytery Meeting at Hutchinson. Our commissioners, Nam Choi, Presbytery Executive Christina Berry, Melissa Krabbe, PCUSA co-moderator Cecelia Armstrong, Doris Evans, and Synod Executive Deborah Boucher-Payne are pictured below.

Also at the Assembly, we celebrated our Executive Presbyter, Rev. Christina Berry 20th Ordiversary, her ordination anniversary. On the right you see Synod Executive Deborah Boucher-Payne presenting Christina with a John Calvin Bobble head! Happy Ordiversary!
